Antonio Biella   was born in Rome on April 15th 1970.

As a child he used to draw, read comic books and he dreamt to become a car designer.

In the summer of 1979, he moved to Sicily, his homeland, with his family.

In January 1991 he followed a course to become a cartoonist in Rome.

The next year he returned to Sicily, where he deepened the comics study. He started working with some comic magazines and published fanzines containing his own works. From 1997 to 1998 he produced a chain of come comic books in which he by himself published the works of italian and foreign comic artists.

Between 1994 and 1996, the interest for the music led him to cooperate with the gothic magazine Ver Sacrum and make some CD covers for the record label Old Europa Cafe, specialized in industrial and ambient music.

In 1997 he discovered fetish magazine Secret and started to get interested in imaginary aesthetics, moving his interests for the graphic Liberty and   Art Nouveau.

Between 1997 and 1998 he produced two fetish portfolios, whose illustrations are published on fetish magazines. Some works of the third portfolio, which was accomplished in 2000, appeared on a Secret magazine issue the following year.

In 2001 he moved to a town close to Brescia, where he studied the great illustrators of late 19th century and mid 20th century.
